Internet
Both EduRoam and OWL wireless networks are availabe to library users who wish to use their own laptop computers. Please see our Wireless Networking page for details of how to use this facility.
Additionally, every library carrel, all of the desks in the Jessop Room, and certain other parts of the library have ethernet sockets to connect personal computers to the Internet. To connect your computer in this way you must have registered it for use on the College ethernet.
Workstations
There are currently seven PC workstations providing full access to the facilities otherwise available in the computer room. College members should use their University Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials to log onto these workstations.
In addition, there are five Apple iMac computers providing access to Apple specific software packages as well as general internet browsing. College members without SSO credentials may use these workstations under the Guest login. Please remember that any files created as Guest must be saved to a memory stick if you wish to keep them.
Computing at Wolfson is subject to College and University Rules; IT Support is provided within certain guidelines.
Printing and Scanning
The Library provides duplex colour laser printing courtesy of a Kyocera TaskAlpha 250ci photocopier device. A fixed charge is made for each page printed on this device which is charged to monthly battels accounts. Scans are free of charge. Please see the Printing in Wolfson page for details of current printing and copying charges.
A second, identical machine is available behind the Lodge.
