Life-Stories Society

From piloting planes to climbing in India; singing with revolutionaries in Iran to singing about Peter Pan; finding spirituality to discovering sexuality, contributors to the Life-Stories Society and the college's annual Life-Stories Day cover a breadth of subjects, spaces and time.

The Life-Stories Society meets once a week at Wolfson College, on Mondays at 8.30pm during term time. It encourages its members to explore subjects and methods relevant to their own life-stories and to the biographies of others. On Sunday 5 February, the Life-Stories Society will hold its first workshop.Come join us for an afternoon of life-writing games and exercises. We will explore our memories using the senses as an intermediary between the present and the past, and take the first steps that will lead to the creation of an autobiography. Places limited! Once a year, the college holds a Life-Stories Day for college members to share stories that represent, or relate to, aspects of their lives.
