Welcome to Wolfson College Taido Club
The Wolfson College Taido Club was founded in October 2001 by instructor and graduate student, Lars Larm. More information about Lars Larm can be found here. Together with our sister club in Exeter there are two practising Taido clubs in Great Britain.
Club membership is drawn from staff and students of Wolfson and its sister colleges, and the club maintains a friendly atmosphere that promotes open discussion and the exchange of ideas. The relaxed training environment is crucial in enabling students to balance training with the heavy burden of academic studies or employment.

On Wednesday 2 July 2008, we had the great privilege to train with Hannu Kymalainen (4 Dan Renshi) from Helsinki, Finland. He showed us some interesting techniques, including amazing jumping kicks, sweeps, and exercises for jissen training. It was a very fun session, and we were sorry he was not staying in England for longer. Thank you, Hannu!
